Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Troy Patton was arrested in Houston for driving while intoxicated.
Patton was observed swerving in and out of lanes at a high rate of speed without using his turn signal.
He also hit a curb and nearly collided with another vehicle before an officer was able to pull him over.
He blood-alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit. He later posted bond and was released. (Read More…)

Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Alfredo Simon is suspected of murder in the Dominican Republic.
The pitcher turned himself into authorities to answer questions about an incident that occurred on New Year’s Eve.
Simon was said to have run from the scene, but he has told those close to him that he was not involved in any murder.
The shooting incident resulted in the death of a man and injuries to another during the celebration. (Read More…)
