O’s begin managerial search
The Baltimore Orioles have begun their search for a new manager, but a decision is not expected anytime soon.
General manager Andy MacPhail has already interviewed Bobby Valentine and Eric Wedge and is set to meet with other candidates.
The Orioles expect the process to take a month or more, but there is no specific timetable in place.
Until a new manager is hired, Juan Samuel will continue on as the skipper on an interim basis.
There is a chance that a new manager might not even be hired until after the season, especially with how badly things are going right now.
