Orioles fall again to Rays, 8-6
The Baltimore Orioles have made finding a different way to lose each night a work of art.
This time, the Orioles managed to blow a 3-0 lead en route to an 8-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in 10 innings.
Starting pitcher Brian Matusz was phenomenal, getting into the eighth inning before his bullpen failed him.
Matusz left the game with the bases loaded, and the Orioles bullpen proceeded to give up five runs.
Luke Scott pinch-hit in the bottom of the eighth inning and launched a game-tying home run, but Matt Albers surrended a three-run missle in the top of the 10th.
